GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT COMPUTERIZED
TESTING
You do not have to know computers to take this test.
Instructions are given before the start of the test. A Test Administrator
will always be present should you have any questions or
problems.
PROFICIENCY TESTS
Proficiency tests are designed to allow students to
demonstrate their mastery of course objectives without actually taking
the course. If you score 80% or better on a proficiency test, you will
receive a "P" notation on your records. The proficiency credit satisfies
graduation requirements and does not effect your grade point average. If
you are interested in taking a proficiency test, pick up a Proficiency
Test Brochure in Student Central, Room 229. Tests are available only for the
courses deemed as appropriate by the applicable Academic Dean.
