Community Outreach: Opportunities for
Educators
DeVry is a registered NJ Department of Education professional development
provider, and offers many opportunities for educators to enhance their
knowledge and skills:
- Fellowships - any secondary or district-level
educator may take up to 32 credits free of charge; no college credit is
given, but professional development credit may be available through each
educator's district; to learn more, contact the New Student Enrollment
Services Office at 732-435-4877.
- Career Awareness Workshops - DeVry representatives
are available to present after-school in-service workshops on careers
& career planning; the emphasis in the workshop is on working with
each person's natural intelligence; one hour of professional development
credit may be available if approved by the district; Click here for more

- Field Trips - educators may bring student groups who
are interested in a technical college to the DeVry campus; the trip
includes a tour, career presentations and discussion of the college
admission process, including financial aid; there is no charge; for more

- Professional Meetings & Conferences - DeVry is
pleased to support educators' professional organizations by providing
space for small meetings year-round; when classes are not in session, our
facility is available for larger groups; for more information, contact our
